The photographer

Hi, I'm Daniel— and I've been obsessed with dogs my whole life.

What started as photographing my own rescue pup turned into a calling: helping families preserve the irreplaceable bond they share with their dogs.

The story

How it all started

I grew up surrounded by animals — dogs, cats, the occasional stray that wandered into our yard and never left. From the moment I picked up my first camera, I knew I wanted to photograph the things that mattered most to me. And nothing has ever mattered more than the dogs in my life.

After years of shooting portraits and landscapes, I found my true niche: fine art dog photography. There's something magical about the way a dog looks at you — pure, unfiltered love — and I've made it my mission to capture that in every session.

Based in Michigan, I work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether your pup is a bouncy golden retriever who can't sit still or a shy rescue who needs extra patience, I know how to bring out their best.

How I work

My approach to every session

Patience first

I never rush a session. Dogs set the pace — we follow their lead until they're comfortable and relaxed.

Michigan locations

From golden-hour fields to local parks and lakeshores, I know the most beautiful spots in Southeast Michigan for stunning natural backdrops.

Natural light

I shoot exclusively in natural light to capture the warmth and authenticity that studio setups simply can't replicate.

All temperaments welcome

Anxious, energetic, senior, or puppy — I've worked with every kind of dog and know how to make them feel at ease.
